Alliance Health Center Hosts Sunday Devotions for Patients and Staff
Every Sunday, Alliance Health Center, a Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (PSI) facility, gives patients and staff the opportunity to gather and worship in conjunction with activity therapy. A dedicated group of pastors, ministers and church members from the community volunteer their time and service to make this opportunity possible at Alliance. Each week, every unit of the facility is encouraged to bring their patients to the Sunday morning service at 8:30 a.m., with a weekly attendance averaging about 50 percent of the patients.
Alliance Health Center Completes Facility Renovations
MERIDIAN, Miss. – (May 27, 2010) – As part of ongoing facility improvements, Alliance Health Center, a Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (PSI) facility, recently renovated its sixth floor to expand its behavioral healthcare capacity. In addition to general touchups and refurbished group therapy rooms, the nurse station is now enclosed by glass for optimal nurse-patient observation.
Psychiatric Solutions’ Alliance Health and Brentwood Behavioral Workers Wear Yellow
JACKSON, Miss. – (May 25, 2010) – “Each day is a brighter day” for thousands of patients at Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. facilities nationwide. Staff members at Alliance Health Center and Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare will be using that theme to raise awareness of mental health issues and to underscore the importance of behavioral healthcare for overall health and economic impact.
